Significant Achievements
In 2006, Thirdwave joined Precious Moments in redesigning their online presence including the implementation of the Thirdwave Content Management System and E-commerce Engine. The success of the redesigned Precious Moments website has exceeded client expectations.
MULTISITE CONTENT MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION
Thirdwave implemented the latest generation of its own content management system for Precious Moments. This CMS implementation includes a WYSIWYG editor, membership administration module, META Tag administration, template caching technologies for high availability and a two-tier publishing engine.
Thirdwave also integrated an existing user database to enable User Generated Content submissions. This allows a fundamental point of communication between these loyal users. The User/Member content submissions support the Precious Moments goal of making their new site truly a viral experience.
COMPLEX E-COMMERCE ENGINE
To extend beyond a traditional shopping cart e-commerce experience, Thirdwave created an e-commerce engine that works dynamically. This engine provides advanced search capabilities, gift suggestions, same screen add to cart and best in class transaction communications. Behind the engine, Thirdwave also developed an advanced administration module, which allows Precious Moments to administer orders and get detailed product sales data.
