Significant Achievements
ENEWSLETTER ENGINE
Thirdwave worked closely with the IFF to create an E-Newsletter Engine with a set of tools and templates that provide capabilities for assembling newsletter content, capturing and managing newsletter registrations, testing newsletter delivery and delivering newsletters to all subscribers. The primary features of this project included printer friendly email templates, personal subscriber profiles, a content management system for the creation of content for any newsletter, a newsletter distribution tool, and email-a-friend capability.

The primary functions of this application are to provide an online tool for community planners working in Illinois. Users of the site can create an account, assess local child care needs, utilize results to make relevant recommendations for project agendas and strategies, develop a plan of action to implement recommended strategies, and utilize a centralized location where meeting participants can discuss the project and review project data points, meeting notes and other relevant materials.
