Anixter Center helps people with disabilities live and work successfully in the community.  The organization is a leading provider of high-quality vocational, residential and educational options, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and health care. Each year, Anixter provides services to more than 5,000 adults and children with disabilities through 70 programs at 35 locations.

Thirdwave worked with Anixter to design and implement a private, internal-only intranet website and application for use by all Anixter employees. Thirdwave also customized and implemented a content management system, enabling content editors to make changes to the Anixter Intranet.  Other features of the Anixter project include a searchable employee directory, a  "what's new" section on the Anixter home page, a secure area of the intranet for use by the Anixter Board of Directors, and a Help-Desk submission form for staff to report IT problems.
